The Sales Team plays a key role in our company's overall goal of creating modern, handmade every day and fine jewelry through ethical sourcing, local craftsmanship and meaningful relationships. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn about jewelry and loves creating great customer experiences. The Position The Jewelry Sales Specialist position is a great opportunity to work in a creative fast paced company. You will work alongside our sales team to share the story of handmade jewelry made in our flag ship Detroit studio. A strong focus on customer relationships, elevating experiences and great communication is a must. You will guide our customers through the Forever Linked experience and help them create the perfect, customized piece of jewelry. You will keep the store neat and organized, this includes general cleaning and stocking as well as collaborating on merchandising projects. An appreciation of craft and design and a steady hand is important and a familiarity with jewelry is a big bonus. Roles & Responsibilities Be the face of our studio - greet guests warmly, share our story, and help customers feel seen and celebrated. Keep our customers informed and engaged by creating relationships and selling the merchandise of their choice. Guide customers through our signature Forever Linked experience, creating permanent jewelry that's as unique as they are Create and collaborate - assist in store merchandising, styling displays, and maintaining a visually inspiring space Keep our studio sparkling - help with cleaning, organizing, restocking, and keeping everything running smoothly. You're detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with a steady hand and excellent organizational skills. You have a creative spirit - maybe you've dabbled in event planning, crafts, making jewelry, or other artistic projects. You appreciate design and quality craftsmanship and are excited to grow your knowledge in the jewelry industry. You're a self-starter, take direction well, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with materials used in jewelry-making and more advanced craft techniques Quick Facts Compensation: Starting at $17/hr. and Bonus potential: Quarterly bonuses possible, discounts, etc. Time Commitment: Part-time 20-25 hrs. per week - Must work 3-4 Saturdays per month Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (in-person) Helpful Experience Genuinely enjoy working with people and making great first impressions You enjoy working with your hands, especially with small objects and delicate materials.
