SUMMARY OF POSITION: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to help expand our market presence and drive sales of humanoid and industrial robotics solutions. This role is perfect for an experienced professional with expertise in robotics, mechatronics, and electric motor technologies, who excels at identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. Your role will focus on bringing in new clients and nurturing relationships to ensure sustainable growth in the robotics sector. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead Generation: Actively prospect and generate new business leads in the humanoid and industrial robotics markets through direct outreach, networking, and leveraging industry connections. * Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and potential business partners. * Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the company's robotic solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their technical capabilities and business benefits. * Customer Needs Analysis: Understand the specific needs of each client and tailor robotic solutions to meet those requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement. * Contract Negotiations: Negotiate sales agreements and contracts with clients, working in collaboration with the company's internal teams to ensure alignment with client expectations. * Collaboration: Work closely with the company's engineering, product, and marketing teams to align the sales process with the latest product offerings and innovations. * Market Insights: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and competitor activities in the robotics industry, providing valuable insights into the business development strategy. * Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the company. CORE COMPETENCIES: * Humanoid Robotics Expertise: In-depth understanding and experience with humanoid robotic systems, including design, function, and real-world applications across industries. * Industrial Robotics Knowledge: Strong familiarity with industrial robotic solutions, including automation and manufacturing systems. * Mechatronics Understanding: Technical proficiency in mechatronics, with a solid understanding of how mechanical, electrical, and computer systems integrate within robotics. * Electric Motor Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of electric motor technology as it pertains to robotics, ensuring efficient, high-performing solutions. * Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proven experience in generating leads and prospecting new business, particularly in technical or industrial sectors. * Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and business partners. *Negotiation & Closing Skills: *Expertise in negotiating deals and closing contracts, with a focus on the robotics and automation industries. * Strategic Market Awareness: Ability to assess trends and opportunities in the market, with a strategic approach to identifying new sales avenues. * Sales Process Expertise: Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of 5 years of experience of engineering in robotics, automation, or a related technical field, with a strong background in business development or sales. * Solid technical knowledge of humanoid robots, industrial robotics, mechatronics, and electric motor technology. * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics required, relatable field accepted * Fluent in Chinese is a bonus * Demonstrated success in business development and sales, particularly in high-tech industries or engineering solutions. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Strong networking abilities, with a proven track record of building relationships and generating new business. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively, while reporting regularly to the company. * Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.
