Feast is a high-end specialty market featuring award-winning grocery items and prepared foods made from scratch daily for take out. We're seeking prepared food team members who are available during the week and some Saturdays. Daily Responsibilities Include * providing top-notch customer service ensuring our customers are helped in a timely and efficient manner * fulfill prepared food orders and maintain the display of prepared foods provided by our team chefs * craft specialty sandwiches and salads as ordered * maintain sampling areas * operate equipment (must be 18) in variety of areas in prepared food department -- preparing sandwiches & salads, slicing deli meats and cheeses * follow and comply with established procedures (heath and sanitation, safe practices, weights and measures, health) Skills * customer focused, high energy, pleasant and a team player * ability to follow direction and have good communication skills * ability to be flexible with shifts -- daylight, some evenings and Saturdays * have an interest in food that translates well when interacting with our customers We Ask That You * must be available to work on Saturdays as needed * must be available to work the week leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas (we are closed Thanksgiving day and the day after as well as Christmas day and the day after) * have proven customer facing skills * must have reliable transportation Benefits * in store discount * no working on the day of a major holiday * parking pass * feast is closed on Sundays * "Life friendly hours."
