HIL - SALES REPRESENTATIVE Sales Representatives are responsible for the coordination of all sales activities in assigned markets. Will provide regular customer contact and service to established accounts. Will actively seek to acquire new customers. Qualifications: * Strong math skills. * Maintain a well-groomed appearance. * Maintain valid required driver's license. * Excellent Verbal and written communication skills * Intermediate Microsoft Office Experience * Motivated self-starter with the ability to structure and productively manage own time with minimal supervision. Responsibilities and Experience*: * Acquire new customers within assigned territory * Communicate effectively and efficiently with sales delivery personnel, office personnel, and supervisor regarding any and all aspects of the business to meet customer and peer needs. * Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues to facilitate positive customer relations and proactive problem-solving abilities. * Develop and maintain various reports, spreadsheets, etc. concerning all activities relevant to assigned markets. * Provide necessary assistance in the collection of delinquent accounts. * Develop and present promotional/advertising materials to existing customers. * Ability to create and implement regular community-based events to augment consumer interest and brand preference. * Create and present a variety of effective full-line dairy sales presentations for utilization in increasing existing customer sales and the acquisition of new customers. * Communicate procedures relative to ordering, returns, damaged products, etc to customers. * Other duties as assigned by the supervisor deemed necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the department. * Minimum age: 18 * Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical. Physical Demand/Working Conditions: * Ability to lift, push and pull and move product weighing up to 60 pounds or more in and out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product overhead * Ability to work an average of 50 hours per week: These hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Occasional overnight travel is required. * Required to Stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pull, and reach above and below the shoulder. * Repetition-Hand/Wrist Simple Grasping, Firm grasping. * Required to sit for long periods of time, utilizing computerized devices. Education : * High School diploma or G.E.D. required. * College Degree preferred or applicable sales experience. _ I understand the description of this job and the essential functions, as given above.
