Portaluca Sales Associate (Part-Time) As a Portaluca Sales Associate, you will be responsible for helping to reach sales goals by assisting customers, cashiering, answering phones, merchandising, and performing other retail tasks. It is a busy place where we like to have fun while maximizing boutique revenue in support of DFSC. This is a part-time role, expected to require 10-15 hours/week. As a Portaluca Sales Associate, you will be accountable for how well you perform against specific metrics, and your ability to: * Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service. * Take an active sales approach to reach goals * Maintain an awareness of all product information and merchandise promotions * Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention * Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at point of sale (POS) registers The skills and experiences you need to help you be successful as an associate include: * Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus * Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people * Ability to operate POS register system with proficiency * Ability to work evenings and weekends * Prior retail experience, preferred At Portaluca we offer a competitive salary and a place you can be proud to work!
