Overview

: The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the dealership. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee all departments, including sales, service, parts, and finance, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

: Leadership & Team Development:

• Hire, train, and mentor department managers and staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and set departmental goals. Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Financial Oversight:
• Develop and manage the dealership's budget.
• Analyze financial statements and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust operations accordingly. Sales & Marketing:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Coordinate marketing and advertising efforts to promote the dealership.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and vendors. Customer Relations:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the dealership.

Qualifications

:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a general management role within an automotive dealership (import store preferred).
• Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in dealership management software (CDK preferred).
