W.Bradford equips brands with award-winning work products and results by calling upon only the best marketing professionals in the business. * PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION Generate new revenue for W.Bradford by researching, identifying, qualifying, proposing, and closing business from high revenue and strategic value end user and Agency accounts. Identify and validate new markets and product groups. Manage complete account onboarding and hand-offs to Account Management. Provide capability presentations and participate in account leadership activities for key clients and agency accounts. Support Account Management in growing and maintaining relationships with new or assigned clients, and agency accounts. * ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In accordance with defined processes: * Work closely with Marketing to proactively research, qualify and cultivate new leads and markets for W.Bradford's products and services using available electronic means, marketing and sales tools, and traveling in person to prospect locations when appropriate * Engage suspects and convert them to qualified prospects, and ultimately new clients * Work with Management to identify, qualify, and justify opportunities for new and custom product lines and services directly and in conjunction with independent manufacture's representatives and firms * Effectively utilize in person visits, phone, email, events, and outbound marketing campaigns for direct prospect and client communication * Establish and maintain relationships and communication throughout the entire sales cycle * Present W.Bradford solutions and benefits as they relate to solving prospective customers' problems and/or fulfilling their requirements * Prepare and issue proposals and work scopes for prospects and clients * Follow through and close proposals and quotes * Work closely with the W.Bradford team to ensure smooth and complete client onboarding * Identify and develop new contacts and opportunities with assigned clients, from initial contact through to close * Maintain adequate activity levels to ensure consistent quota achievement * Consistently seek guidance continuous improvement on executing every aspect of this position * Collaborate with W.Bradford Leadership to refine sales processes toward increased sales productivity * Utilize and maintain Sales Automation tool(s) with complete and up to date information on all stages of assigned prospects and clients * Facilitate marketing efforts by regularly communicating discovered needs, trends, beneficial events, and other market intelligence * Attend trade shows; help with booth setup and tear down, network and prospect for new opportunities, qualify and capture leads, demonstrate products, gather feedback, and market intelligence * Pre-plan travel and visits to maximizes client-facing time and minimizes travel time between visits * Provide and confirm visit plans/meeting agendas to clients for each scheduled visit * Participate in weekly sales team meetings * Be a creative force when necessary * Work with co-workers to ensure success * Other duties as needed or assigned * KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL * Consistent, persistent sales prospecting to identify new revenue opportunities and progress them through the entire sales cycle * Recognize and deliver solutions for spoken needs as well as hidden or unspoken needs of suspects, referral partners, clients, and prospects * Display positive persistence, optimism, and empathy in all interactions * Possess a high level of technical product knowledge and an understanding of the industries, applications, companies, and contacts, along with customer service and new business development sales techniques * Proven excellence in critical thinking, analytical skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal communications * Accurate and complete information gathering and documentation skill * Competent in MS Office products and efficient in email, internet, and sales automation applications. * Demonstrated problem solving and people skills * High accuracy in work, attention to detail * REPORTING * This position reports to the CEO
