Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Counter Sales & Service Associate to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with truck, hydraulic and air hose assembly, strong knowledge of fittings and adapters, and a background in retail sales. The ideal candidate will also have experience in warehouse operations, truck parts, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers and contractors in a professional and friendly manner
• Fabricate and assemble custom hydraulic and air hoses to customer specifications
• Provide expert advice and support on fittings, adapters, and related components
• Process retail transactions using POS systems accurately and efficiently
• Handle incoming phone inquiries and assist with parts lookup and troubleshooting
• Support inventory management through stocking, labeling, and organizing products
• Participate in shipping and receiving processes, including filling and packing large orders
• Operate a forklift to load/unload and move product within the warehouse (certification preferred)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front counter and warehouse areas
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet customer and operational needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hydraulic and air hose assembly
• Strong working knowledge of fittings, couplings, adapters, and hose-related components
• Retail experience with strong customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with truck parts is an asset
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
• Forklift certification or experience (current license preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
