Job Summary

: The Retail Sales Associate plays a very important role. In this position, it will be essential to greet and engage with all guests, as you are a very important impression of the business. Below are the fundamental areas that each Retail Sales Associate must perform on a daily basis to ensure positive retail operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

• Inform customers about sales, promotions, and upcoming events
• Build guest relationships through excellent customer service and honest recommendations
• Effectively process transactions through Gift Shop POS system
• Stock and merchandise sales floor as directed
• Process incoming merchandise as directed
• Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness in the back stock room and on the sales floor
• Other related duties as directed by management

Qualifications

and Experience:

• Must have solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with guests, peers, and management
• Ability to multitask, while being attentive to guests and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
• Must be willing to work peak hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs Ba9jVCOP06
