Essig PLM is looking for an entry level sales professional to join our growing team. Essig PLM is a leading provider of product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions and services with a focus on the discrete manufacturing industry. Your role as a BDR is focused on lead development and qualification. You'll be responsible for outreach to inbound inquiries as well as initial contact for outbound cold calling for the purpose of qualification and getting accounts into an active sales process. This may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: * Completing sales and product training * Outbound sales activities via cold calls, emails and social media * Logging sales leads in the CRM tool for tracking (Copper CRM) * Answering product related questions * Driving leads to qualification and handoff to sales account managers * Coordination of demonstration and presentation schedules * Working with existing customers on expansion opportunities Eligible candidates will need (to be): * Sales and/or customer service experience * Outgoing personality * Goal oriented * Proactive * Attention to detail * Self-motivated and able to work within a sales team * Effective writing and communication skills
