Overview An established manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while driving sales growth within your assigned territory. The Sales: Key Accounts Manager is appointed by and reports directly to the Senior Director, Sales. The Sales Account Manager - OEM Weldments has sufficient authority to exercise the responsibilities and duties assigned. Responsibilities The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and executing growth plans and fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers, driving significant revenue and market share expansion for all sales-based functions supporting defined customer accounts as directed by the Senior Director, Sales. This role requires up to 25 -50% travel. Specific account responsibility will be defined by the Senior Director, Sales and includes: * Semiconductor: IDM Fabs & Foundries * Semiconductor: Capital Equipment OEMs Key Duties: * Develop and implement a comprehensive key account strategy aligned with overall company objectives. * Identify and prioritize key accounts within the semiconductor industry. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior executives and technical leaders at key customer accounts. * Deeply understand customer needs, challenges, and technology roadmaps. * Address customer pain points and drive business value. * Ensure seamless customer experience and successful project execution. * Negotiate and close complex deals, exceeding revenue targets for assigned accounts. * Regularly monitor and analyze account performance, identifying opportunities for growth and upsell/cross-sell initiatives. * Track industry trends and competitor activity to ensure value propositions remain differentiated. * Develop and present compelling business cases and presentations to key stakeholders. * Oversee account profitability and manage resources effectively. Relationship Building: * Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers and expand the customer base. * Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to connect with potential and existing clients. * Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly. Product Knowledge and Training: * Develop a deep understanding of all product offerings. * Train customers on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting. * Collaborate with technical teams to address product-related issues and new go-to-market product offerings. * Develop an understanding of all market regulations and specifications. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and current/future sales opportunities. * Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management review. Minimum Qualifications * Degree in a technical field, or 10 years of related industry experience. * 5 years of outside sales experience. * Familiarity with CRM software. * Effective written and verbal communication skills.
