We are seeking a Packaging / Equipment Sales Representative to work out of our Pittsburgh, PA location. This representative needs strong communication, sales, and technical skills to effectively sell packaging solutions and equipment, build relationships with clients, and understand industry trends. Responsibilities * Selling packaging materials and equipment, building customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and managing accounts, all while staying informed about industry trends and competitor activity. * Willing and able to learn and cross sell in our other business segments. Essential Skills: Communication: * Verbal and Written: Sales need to communicate product information, benefits, and solutions clearly and concisely to both internal teams and clients. * Active Listening: Understanding client needs and challenges is crucial for offering tailored solutions. * Presentation skill: Ability to present product information and solutions effectively to both small and large groups. Sales skills : * Minimum 4 years sales experience. * Client Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients is essential for repeat business and referrals. * Negotiation: Knowledge of negotiation strategies to secure deals and meet client needs. * Sales Techniques: Understanding and utilizing effective sales techniques to close deals. * Target Selling: Experience in identifying and targeting specific client needs. * Goal oriented: Strive continuously to meet sales goals. Other Important Skills: * Organization: Maintaining organized records, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively. * Industry Awareness: Staying up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and regulations in the packaging industry. * Self-Motivation: Being a self-starter, motivated, and having a strong desire to succeed. * Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of the team. * Travel Willingness: Packaging sales often requires travel to meet with clients and attend industry events. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
