Full description of the position

Job Overview The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for creating new business for the Schwenn Companies (Schwenn). Primary emphasis is placed on bringing new clients and properties into the Companies. Concurrent effort is to be made in cultivating new work and properties from existing clients. The BDM is also responsible for customer communication ensuring satisfaction of their experience with field, management and administrative staff. Reports To The Business Development Manager will report to the President/CEO. What Success Looks Like * A successful BDM is responsible for the following outcomes: * Approximately $500,000 - $1 mil. in annual new business. * Customer satisfaction & retention above 95% * Advocating the Schwenn Company's Vision of being our clients preferred and most desirable choice for their mechanical and electrical service needs. How this position fits on the Team The BDM is an integral part of the Schwenn Team, responsible for the current and future success of the Companies and the Team. Responsibilities and Duties * Create opportunities resulting in $500,000 - $ 1 mil. in new annual business. * Maintain customer satisfaction and retention rates above 95%. Provide feedback to management on ways to improve these metrics based on customer input. * Provide accurate logs, records, etc. on sales and customer service activities daily. * Communicate and coordinate with Operations and Technical staff re: client meetings, needs, feedback, etc. * Attend weekly sales training courses as well as any needed skill-specific training in the interim. * Attend 3-4 networking groups per month for the purpose of recruiting new customers and advocating on behalf of the Schwenn Companies. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years in customer service or sales * High School Diploma * Positive, outgoing nature * Able and willing to work in a team environment * Eager to learn and be continually educated * Willingness to travel, primarily in the Central Florida area
