Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize effective selling techniques, including upselling, to maximize sales opportunities. * Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions and maintaining cash handling procedures. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to assist customers effectively. * Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing at all times. * Assist in training new staff members and supervise sales floor activities as needed. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive shopping experience. * Perform retail math calculations to assist customers with pricing inquiries or discounts. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn. * Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with operating cash registers are advantageous. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse customers is valued. * Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective customer interactions. * A basic understanding of retail math concepts will be beneficial in this role.
