Job Overview: KMFA Classical is hiring a Part-Time Sales/Marketing Assistant. Are you a proactive and creative individual looking to kick-start or grow your career in sales and marketing? We're looking for a Part-Time Sales/Marketing Assistant to support our team Monday through Thursday, working 7 hours per day (28 hours per week). This hybrid position offers remote work on Monday and Wednesday. It's a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both sales and marketing, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our organization continues to expand. Job Summary: * Work within established department guidelines to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, and accounting perspective, as well as making regular updates to station website, social media pages, and maintaining email databases. * The Marketing/Sales assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by the department personnel as needed. * The position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Essential Functions: * Updates to station website, social media pages and maintenance of email database. * Monitor and prepare reports on web, social and other digital content usage. * Input and maintain orders, including revisions due to client and program changes. * Creation of PowerPoint or Canva presentations, database management, and sales report maintenance. * Learn to perform work using HubSpot Customer Relationship Management and Marketron traffic systems. * Efficiently work with the account executives, marketing, and management team. * Effectively work with sales team in obtaining creative materials and generates support materials for local/digital sales presentations. * Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems. * Prepares reports and monitors inventory for on-air and digital assets. * Maintains files and other business records. * Various administrative duties and sales contract management. * Must be available to work essential evening and weekend events on occasion with flex time. Qualifications: * Proficient in MS Office. * Degree in a related field is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. * Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. * Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy. * Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields.
