Job description A leading convenience store wholesaler is looking for an energetic and self- starting Sales Route Merchandiser who is familiar with products and items related to the industry. This position will cover a weekly set route of convenience stores to assist clients with placing orders, tagging and resetting merchandise via Plan-o-Grams as needed. The applicant must possess the ability to travel to multiple store locations within the North Houston, Texas area. The ideal candidate would reside within 25 miles of this area. Mileage is reimbursed, and the applicant will be using their own vehicle. Qualifications: * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to implement and execute ideas to complete task timely * Maintain flexibility in an ever-changing work environment * Ability to perform store reset duties that include lifting, bending, and stooping * Must maintain an acceptable driving record * Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook * 1-3-1 Insurance is required * Must maintain good customer relations with the store management * Must be able to reset and merchandise stores * Must be able to use handheld cipher lab unit to transmit order * Must be able to work flexible hours each day to complete the assigned duties * Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required) Job Type: Part-time Hours: 20-30/ per week Starting pay: $16.00/ per hour License/Certification: * Driver's License Work Location: Multiple Locations in person Experience: * Sales: 1 year (Preferred) * Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
