Job Overview We are seeking people to work the retail floor and backroom processing areas for busy thrift store. Backroom schedules are Monday thru Friday while sales floor schedules vary Monday through Sunday. We will train for all positions. Responsibilities * For the sales floor, help place merchandise from the backroom in the correct area on the sales floor. Put items back where they belong throughout the day. Keep your assigned area neat at all times. * In the backroom, we will train to identify, inspect, and assess value of merchandise by quality, color, and style. Must be able to grasp or properly lift bags, boxes, or other items weighing up to 25 pounds. * Must be able to push or move rolling racks or carts with clothing or miscellaneous items, at times navigating among employees and/or customers with care. * Must be able to stand during the entire shift except for break period. Must be able to reach up or stoop or squat to retrieve objects from the floor, racks, or rolling carts. * Must be on time and can follow the manager's directions. Skills * Bilingual abilities are a plus. * Previous experience in retail is a plus but not necessary. * Ability to perform daily responsibilities while adhering to safety protocols. * A willingness to learn, work well with others, have good work habits, dependability, and a cooperative attitude with customers and fellow employees expected.
