Your expertise in retail sales and product knowledge will help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. * Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing detailed information about features and benefits. * Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed effectively. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. * Conduct inventory checks and assist with restocking as needed to ensure product availability. Skills * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store environment. * Familiarity with retail math concepts to analyze sales data effectively. * Proficiency in operating POS systems for efficient transaction processing. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. * Supervisory experience is beneficial for leading team efforts and training new employees.
