Territory Sales Representative Location: Houston Area (Requires Daily Travel)
About Us
: Work with a growing manufacturer of premium vinyl windows and doors, serving the Gulf Coast states. They have experienced consistent growth, leading to a relocation to a larger facility in Greater Houston in July 2022. This expansion doubled the fabrication capacity and enabled us to integrate advanced computerized equipment and robotics. We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative with extensive window and door product knowledge to join the team. This role requires confidence, accountability, professionalism, and a strong ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities
:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultations.
- Follow industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows to generate leads and engage with customers.
- Recommend marketing strategies tailored to target regions or demographics.
- Generate and submit sales reports to management.
- Conduct plan takeoffs.
- Negotiate with customers to close sales. Ideal Candidate:
- Proven ability to develop and grow market presence.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Persistent, trustworthy, and customer-focused.
- Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales within the building materials sector.
- Resides in a central location within the assigned territory.
Requirements
:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR at least five years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel extensively (4 days per week).
- 1-5 overnight trips per month.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

- Credit for cell phone invoices. The total compensation package for this role is structured to include both a guaranteed base salary and a performance-based commission. The base salary is set at $50,000 per year, providing financial stability. In addition, the role offers a commission of 1% on sales, allowing for significant earnings potential based on performance. Sales professionals in this position typically manage territories with an average sales volume ranging between $5 million and $6 million. Given this sales range, commission earnings can substantially contribute to the total compensation, enabling high-performing individuals to reach or exceed the expected total annual earnings of $100,000. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
