As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility. You, as the Sales Associate, will collaborate with the buying team to develop effective product assortments and ensure proper inventory levels. Your role as a Sales Associate involves conducting regular inventory audits and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and staff to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities will be essential to inform merchandising decisions as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will also ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all customers. Key Responsibilities of the Sales Associate: * Drive sales and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility as a Sales Associate. * Collaborate with the buying team to develop effective product assortments and ensure proper inventory levels as a Sales Associate. * Conduct regular inventory audits as a Sales Associate to ensure accuracy. * Maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans as a Sales Associate. * Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations as a Sales Associate. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions as a Sales Associate. * Train and educate store staff on merchandising best practices and brand guidelines as a Sales Associate. * Ensure compliance with company standards, including product placement, pricing, and signage as a Sales Associate. * Assist customers in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner as a Sales Associate to drive customer satisfaction. * Perform all duties related to customer service and the overall customer shopping experience as a Sales Associate. Qualifications for the Sales Associate: * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus for the Sales Associate position. * Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets as a Sales Associate to track performance and sales. * Physically able to lift and move moderately weighted merchandise as needed as a Sales Associate. * Some schedule flexibility if needed to travel to various store locations as a Sales Associate. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions as a Sales Associate to ensure tasks are completed correctly. * Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices as a Sales Associate. * Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems as a Sales Associate to process transactions. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members as a Sales Associate. * Basic math skills for retail calculations as a Sales Associate to ensure accurate pricing and transactions. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a Sales Associate. * Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively as a Sales Associate in a fast-paced retail environment.
