Who We Are: Nook is a Miami-based tech company with a home renovation planning software platform that bridges a gap between brands, retail stores, installation professionals, and homeowners during the renovation's planning stage. Through embedded links "powered by Nook" on customer websites and back-end dashboards to manage clients and sales, Nook helps brands, retail stores and installation professionals qualify leads, speed up the process and ultimately close more sales. The Role: Software Sales Development Lead We are looking for a scrappy, hungry sales and business development leader who is excited to build something from the early stages. This is our first dedicated sales hire with unlimited growth potential. We're a small team, so you won't just be part of the strategy--you'll help define it, test it, break it, and improve it. If you've been itching to get in early at a product-driven company and roll up your sleeves to build real traction, we want to talk. What You 'll Do: * Lead outbound sales efforts and drive new business through proactive outreach. * Build the foundation: help set up processes, tools, and tracking that support scale. * Learn from conversations: uncover what prospects care about and help steer product feedback. * Shape the sales narrative and improve how we pitch. * Work directly with the founders and product team to align sales and growth strategy. Qualifications: * Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily to generate new business. * Skilled at initiating and managing in-person meetings to drive new customer acquisition. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage/lead pipeline, follow-up, and prospecting activities efficiently. * Experience in SaaS sales, BD, partnerships or revenue roles (especially in early-state or growth environments). * Previous B2B preferred but not required. Our Hiring Process: Our interview process aims to respect your time: a 30-minute video chat about past experience and sales philosophy, a paid exercise representative of our process, and a final conversation with the founder and offer. Job Type: Full-time This role starts as an independent contractor during our three-month trial period before converting to a full-time employee position.
