Overview

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join Brooklyn Boutique in Burns Square Historic District of Sarasota. We provide exceptional customer service and ensure our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will assist with product demonstrations, manage stock levels, and handle cash transactions efficiently. We would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage stock efficiently.
• You must be comfortable tagging and steaming new merchandise.
• Two days a week 8 hr shift and you must be comfortable working alone
