PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an on-site property management position Job Summary This private apartment association was founded over 40 years ago and has become one of the US's largest individually organized groups of apartment owners. We provide full-service, low-cost resources to our members. Our Van Nuys corporate office is looking for a person with good people skills with property management experience to fill our Membership Advisor opening. Excellent customer service skills are required to assist members with answering general landlord/tenant questions and responding to online chat and email questions. Computer knowledge is an essential function of our day-to-day operational responsibilities, such as navigating websites, sending weekly emails for webinars, managing email correspondence, and data entry. Qualification Criteria: * Property Management experience preferred * Type a minimum of 25 words a minute * Good phone manners are needed, as most of your time will be spent on the phone and the computer simultaneously * Excellent computer knowledge is necessary, as every function of the job relies on the computer and various software * Positive personality * Pass drug test Schedule: * Ful-time * Monday through Friday * 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Benefits: * Six Paid holidays * Medical and Dental benefits available * Optional matching 401K after first six months of full-time employment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Van Nuys, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Property Management: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
