Full description of the position

Account Manager Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned account's transportation/logistics needs. * Manage driver staffing, reporting and customer service * Coordinate daily driver activity and routing to include driver log entry, invoices and work orders * Maintain regular interaction with customers, Salem management, and drivers to ensure a positive relationship and open communication * Oversee drivers' daily workload - ensure drivers provide timely and accurate delivery * Coordinate driver training as needed * Ensure Salem and its employees remain in compliance with all DOT regulations * Ensure all driver documentation is received and submitted timely (bills of lading, POD, driver pay sheets, etc) * Ensure vehicle inspection reports are complete and associated permits and tags are current and up to date * Provide leadership and guidance and ensure compliance with company policies and practices
