Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic grocery store environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the products they need. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Duties * Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product selections. * Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability. * Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote sales. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory needs and customer feedback. * Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus. * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. * Experience in stocking products and maintaining inventory is beneficial. * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
