As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently while handling transactions accurately. * Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure that the sales floor is clean and well-presented. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of customer service. * Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing retail math calculations. * Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus. * Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently. * A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
