Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy.
• Process payments using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct product demos as needed to promote hotel services or amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Assist in supervising front desk operations during shifts as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to operate a cash register and perform cash handling duties responsibly.
• Proficiency in sales techniques to promote hotel services effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
