Full description of the position

Position Summary

: We're seeking a results-driven, strategic, and passionate Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts and maximize revenue through proactive prospecting, account management, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a hospitality sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building meaningful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that targets group, corporate, and local accounts
  • Conduct sales calls, site tours, and presentations to generate new business
  • Foster relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and community groups
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and revenue management to ensure alignment on rate strategy and forecast
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, and community functions
  • Manage sales reporting, CRM updates, and weekly sales activity tracking
  • Lead team members to support the overall sales effort
Qualifications

:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and business development strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Familiarity with sales CRM systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
