Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining compliance with legal and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a background in property leasing, with an understanding of LIHTC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Assist applicants in completing lease applications and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
• Manage tenant inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other relevant documents using Yardi or similar property management software.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Handle conflict management effectively, addressing tenant concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants while adhering to company guidelines.
• Perform data entry tasks related to leasing activities and maintain organized files.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with tenants and team members.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively and negotiate lease terms professionally.
• Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing is beneficial.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
