As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by assisting them with their needs, promoting products, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store. * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations, utilizing upselling techniques where appropriate. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is displayed correctly. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Answer customer inquiries over the phone with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about products and services. * Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for pricing and inventory management. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus. * A willingness to learn about products and sales techniques to enhance customer interactions.
