Tanning Consultant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tanning Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking tanning services, ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for educating clients on tanning options, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and promoting additional services and products. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their tanning experience. * Educate clients about various tanning options, including UV and spray tanning, while addressing any questions or concerns they may have. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment and the salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards. * Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Upsell tanning packages, products, and additional services to maximize customer satisfaction and salon revenue. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tanning products and supplies. * Stay updated on the latest trends in tanning and skincare to provide informed recommendations to clients. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the salon. Qualifications * Previous experience in customer service is essential; experience in a retail or salon environment is preferred. * Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. * Proven ability to upsell products or services effectively. * Knowledge of cosmetology or skincare is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. * Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive client relationships. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace for both clients and staff.
