Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tanning Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking tanning services, ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for educating clients on tanning options, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and promoting additional services and products.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their tanning experience.
• Educate clients about various tanning options, including UV and spray tanning, while addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment and the salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Upsell tanning packages, products, and additional services to maximize customer satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tanning products and supplies.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in tanning and skincare to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the salon.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is essential; experience in a retail or salon environment is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Proven ability to upsell products or services effectively.
• Knowledge of cosmetology or skincare is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive client relationships.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
