Job Description: As the Hotel Director of Sales , you will be crucial in leading and optimizing the sales efforts for hotels in transition, repositioning, or needing short-term sales expertise. You will work closely with hotel management and operations teams to identify and implement sales strategies that drive revenue, increase occupancy, and maximize profitability. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, targeting both corporate and leisure markets. * Build and maintain relationships with key clients, travel partners, and industry influencers to generate new business opportunities. * Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and areas for growth. * Train and mentor hotel sales teams, offering guidance on sales techniques, customer engagement, and market penetration. * Oversee the development of sales materials, proposals, and presentations for potential clients. * Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing detailed reporting and recommendations for improvement. * Represent the hotel and brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Director of Sales, Senior Sales Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry. * Expertise in sales strategy development, lead generation, and closing business. * Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on results and collaboration. * Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to travel frequently and work across multiple properties. * Knowledge of hotel sales software, CRM tools, and revenue management practices. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience with both independent hotels and branded properties. * Existing relationships with key industry players and travel organizations.
