Full description of the position
A growing real estate management company specializing in affordable and multifamily housing is seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties. The company is committed to providing quality housing solutions with a focus on compliance, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency. They are looking for a proactive individual with a strong background in property maintenance, administrative management, and knowledge of real estate regulations-- particularly in the affordable housing space. Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, rent collection, tenant communication, and maintenance coordination. * Ensure units and common areas are well-maintained, scheduling and following up on repairs as needed. * Maintain up-to-date and accurate records using property management software (experience with OneSite is a plus). * Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program requirements. * Address resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner. * Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and upkeep. * Collaborate with maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective work completion. * Track property performance and prepare regular reports on occupancy, collections, and condition. Qualifications: * Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. * Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures. * Familiarity with OneSite software is a plus. * Excellent administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file management. * Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC compliance requirements. * Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.AB Hires and Consulting
