Located in Salem, OR Salary: 22-27 Express Employment needs a Senior Property Manager for a local Property management company! Are you an experienced Senior Property Manager with a passion for residential property management? This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and a deep understanding of landlord-tenant laws to ensure properties are well- maintained, fully leased, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities - What you will do * Oversee daily operations of residential properties, ensuring maintenance, security, and tenant satisfaction. * Develop and implement property budgets, financial reports, and cost-effective management strategies. * Negotiate lease agreements, ensuring compliance with local and federal landlord-tenant laws. * Coordinate with contractors and service providers for property improvements and routine maintenance. * Implement marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates, including advertising vacancies and conducting property tours. * Handle tenant complaints and disputes, resolving issues promptly while adhering to tenant rights and fair housing regulations. * Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions, identify necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with health and safety codes. * Stay updated on landlord-tenant laws, including eviction procedures, security deposit regulations, and lease enforcement policies. * Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to ensure tenant safety. *Qualifications - What you need for this role * * Proven experience in residential property management, overseeing multi-family or single-family properties. * At least 4 years of proven Property Management experience * Understanding of landlord-tenant laws in Oregon * Strong knowledge of lease agreements, tenant rights, and fair housing laws. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficiency in property management software and financial tools.
