Full description of the position

Ready to join a collaborative sales and marketing team in the growing behavioral health industry? Ulliance is growing its footprint nationally and internationally and seeking qualified individuals to develop, nurture, and grow a territory in the behavioral health benefits space. Mental health is a rapidly growing industry and qualified candidates will have experience developing relationship with channel partners, networking, and prospecting. Job Overview: The Business Development Executive is responsible for new business development by leveraging the consultative approach to sales for all Ulliance service lines. This position is responsible for identification and execution of business development strategies, developing channel partner relationships, and securing new accounts. This position is work from home, but must be located in the Philadelphia, PA area. Essential Job Duties: * Leverage various lead generation methods, including networking with insurance benefits brokers, networking, and prospecting to meet or exceed established revenue goals * Self-starter with the drive to build relationships utilizing a consultative approach * Monitor sales on an ongoing basis and make adjustments/modifications as needed * Coordinate and submit proposals to current and prospective client companies, referral sources, healthcare consultants and other interested parties * Develop and build relationships with healthcare consultants and brokers to generate new business referrals * Track status of new business efforts through the Business Development data base and/or other reports as appropriate * Coordinate efforts, strategies and relationships with various associations and organizations for new business opportunities * Review and provide input on marketing/business development materials to ensure accuracy and effectiveness * Monitor market trends/needs and track competition to provide recommendations for changes as needed * Understand, demonstrate and promote the principles of the Company's Mission and Values * Provide recommendations for annual department budget * Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences and other business engagements and follow through timely on leads * Lead, assist or support the Business Development team with special projects, services and needs as assigned Required Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business or related field * Five (5) or more years of consultative sales experience, with proven sales results * Experience in healthcare, wellness, or behavioral health, or working with health and life insurance agencies and brokers * Measurable track record of success in external sales/business development * Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills * Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel as required * Computer skills/proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to effectively function and operate in a rapidly changing and diverse environment * Proactively seek and assess opportunities, plan, implement and evaluate results * Ability to cope with difficult and/or urgent situations requiring immediate decisions * Well organized and the ability to multi-task * Experience with Hubspot a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay Experience: * healthcare or benefit broker: 1 year (Required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
