The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong ability to maximize the existing corporate, social and group sales potential by building trusted relationships and assuring flawless execution from first contact through the events completion. The Director of Sales must have the ability to work independently on a daily basis, but with effective and aligned communication with the General Manager and the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. Hotel sales experience is a definite plus, but not required.A successful Director of Sales must maintain a high-energy enthusiasm that exudes the passion and confidence it takes to not only close the deal, but to assure the events success.
