Job responsibilities include the following: Help with the lease up of each building as it's completed. Provide outstanding customer service, professionalism, and exemplary communication. Provide detailed phone presentations to prospective Tenants with purpose of pre-screening for qualifications and setting an appointment to show a space Provide tours of the shopping center or office buildings to prospective Tenants for the purpose of leasing space. Keep accurate and detailed records of phone and walk-in traffic utilizing approved traffic logs and guest cards. Enter all traffic into computer daily. Discuss with prospective residents the advantages of leasing at our properties. Conduct outreach marketing as needed. Screen and qualify prospective Tenants using the approved selection criteria while ensuring that they meet the designated requirements. Prepare leases and paperwork for qualified prospective Tenants. Prepare Tenant files after move-in using the approved standards. Handle all lease renewals in a complete and timely manner. Complete all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor. Leasing Bonus potential during lease up! Requirements: Experience/Training. Must have previous leasing or sales experience with excellent closing abilities. We are willing to train the right person if they are out-going, a team player, dependable, and eager to learn. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Should have excellent social and motivational skills. Should be compassionate and have an outgoing personality with a sense of humor. Must be punctual and dependable. Must have excellent telephone skills. Must be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have proven closing skills. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines. Computer literacy is required for the position. Physical Requirements: Should be able conduct tours. Must be able to travel up and down stairs at the property, the property does have an elevator. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds in a variety of work situations. Must be able to reach, bend, and have a full range of motion. Just have stamina to work long hours, if needed.
