Full description of the position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Requirements * Troubleshoot, repair, and test hardware Point of Sale hardware & software. * Maintains current knowledge of all NetSuite applications involved in the staging and troubleshooting of POS hardware: ex. Repair tickets, Projects, Sales Orders, etc. * Build, test, and configure POS hardware to customer provided specifications. * Preform disk imaging and install software while following internal standards to safeguard proprietary customer data. * Confirm order and hardware accuracy prior to testing/repair, complete "Serviced by" on all orders. * Develop a robust and diverse technological skill set to enable you to solve problems as they arise. * Become a source of knowledge about the products you work on to answer inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. * Maintain constant communication with customer facing teams and team leads to meet all deadlines. * Collaborates with customers to build, configure, and implement point of sale (POS) software. * Collaborates, plans, and executes hardware, software, and application project rollouts. * Maintain internal work logs via Smartsheet, Excel or additional platform as required by RPOS or Customers * Use and maintain provided staging documentation to ensure all hardware & software testing and setup is done correctly and per customer specifications. * Maintains a current knowledge base of all customers specific staging processes and understanding of new hardware as it is updated and improved. * Drives continuous improvement projects to better utilize technology and facilities to facilitate successful execution of staging projects. * Fosters positive working relationships, responds proactively to performance concerns, discipline, and co- worker relations matters. * Responsible to perform all work in accordance with RPOS best practices and make suggestions to ensure said practices meet customer expectations and industry standards. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) * High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * CompTIA A+ Certification * Experience in Microsoft Windows architecture and troubleshooting, IOS & Android basic troubleshooting. * Point of Sale software Experience: Aloha or other Enterprise software a plus * Self-directed individual who leads projects and holds strong organizational skills. * Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information. * Ability to multitask working on multiple projects/tasks at the same time and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Requires use of hand tools and the ability lift, carry, or otherwise move 30/50 pounds regularly.
