Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining positive relationships with residents. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle various leasing-related tasks efficiently. The successful leasing specialist will market vacant units, respond to inquiries, touring and prepare lease documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting features.
• Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, including screening applicants and preparing lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions in the property management system.
• Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively.
• Utilize sales techniques to upsell additional services or amenities to potential tenants.
• Assist with marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Assist working in conjunction with our Marketing and Leasing platforms to ensure the property maintains a 95%+ occupancy by handling all guest cards, leads and tours daily.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or leasing is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and tenants.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle tenant disputes professionally.
• Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks, including lease documentation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
