Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, providing tailored recommendations, and guiding them through the purchasing process. Your expertise in solar sales and customer service will help drive our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts to promote solar energy products and services. * Conduct thorough market research to identify new leads and opportunities for business growth. * Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress effectively. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure sales while maintaining profitability. * Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. * Lead presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of solar energy systems to prospective clients. * Collaborate with team members to develop strategies that enhance sales performance and improve customer experience. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape. Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector. * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. * Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable. * Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. * Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. * Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards client needs. * A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is essential for success in this role.
