In this role, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and support their shopping experience. You will assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming environment that encourages sales and customer loyalty. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating merchandise. * Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales. * Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers and clean workspace environment. * Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies. * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. * Assist in restocking shelves and organizing displays to promote new products or sales events. * Engage with customers in both English and other languages if bilingual, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Experience * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to sell products effectively. * Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks are essential. * Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus. * A passion for helping customers and a commitment to providing excellent service is crucial for success in this role.
