Job Overview Our Financial Planning Firm is seeking an ambitious, go-getter Business Development Coordinator who thrives as a self-starter and team player. In this dynamic role, you will support our growth initiatives by ensuring accurate CRM data management and engaging with leads and prospects at seminars, educational events, and in-office encounters. A key objective is to convert engaged prospects from seminars and educational workshops into scheduled meetings for our advisors. Strong phone skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a professional business environment are essential. Key Responsibilities: CRM Management & Data Entry: * Accurately enter and update client and prospect information in the CRM system. * Maintain data integrity and ensure timely follow-up on lead interactions. Lead and Prospect Engagement: * Represent the firm at seminars, educational events, and in-office interactions. * Proactively engage with leads and prospects, converting engaged prospects from seminars and workshops into scheduled meetings for our advisors. * Schedule meetings and follow-up communications to drive business development efforts. Communication & Professional Conduct: * Utilize strong phone skills to engage with potential clients. * Display friendly, professional, and approachable behavior during all client and prospect encounters. * Manage inbound calls through the phone tree, collaborating with the team to provide timely, professional assistance. * Uphold the high standards of our business environment, ensuring every interaction reflects the firm's reputable image. * Event Support: * Assist with the organization and coordination of seminars and educational events. * Help ensure smooth event operations and maintain a consistent, professional presence. * Set up and break down of equipment at venues, coordinating audio/visual requirements and room layout. * Manage run of show for the presenter and guests/prospects. General Administrative Support: * Provide support to the business development team with tasks including document preparation and scheduling. Qualifications: * Proven experience in data entry and CRM management; familiarity with fiduciary or financial services is a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to engage effectively over the phone and in person. * Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Proactive self-starter with an ambitious, go-getter attitude and a strong team orientation. * Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. * Eagerness to continuously raise the bar and drive improvements in performance and service. * A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as additional education or certification in office administration, is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
