We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist customers. Gift Gallery, is hiring for Retail Associates for our location at The Island. Gift Gallery is a retailer of a unique line of collectable blown- glass, crystal gift figurines. We have been in the gift business for more than 20 years. 30-40+ hours/week DAY and EVENING shifts available Day Shift is typically from 9:00AM - 5:00PM Evening Shift is typically from 4:00PM - 11:00PM All Day Shift is typically from 11:00AM - 9:00PM *Mall hours and shifts will change during peak shopping days Apply Online at: [please apply online] Hourly pay is $13.00 - $15.00 Responsibilities - Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers - Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions - Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized store environment - Restock merchandise and ensure proper product placement on shelves - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Skills - Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction - Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions - Experience with stocking and organizing merchandise in a retail setting - Familiarity with cash registers, point of sale (POS) systems, and retail math concepts - Capability to conduct engaging product demonstrations for customers JOB REQUIREMENTS: *2 plus years of retail, sales, and/or customer service experience (especially in the gift/seasonal industry) *Experience with computerized cash registers *Ability to operate a smart phone or a computer tablet *Must be 18 years old *Mature, positive attitude, willing to help and go the extra mile for coworkers and customers Apply Online at: GiftGalleryGlass.com *No medical insurance available *Pass a background check Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Retail sales: 2 years (Required) Language: * English (Required) Ability to Commute: * Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 (Required) Work Location: In person
