Sales Representative Summary of Position The Sales Representative is responsible for providing premier customer service to all current and potential customers from the point of initial contact through delivery of the product. It is also the responsibility of the Sales Representative to achieve sales and profit goals established by the management team at Sunshine Metals - Las Vegas. Responsibilities and Duties As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Sales Representative. * Increase sales & provide support for current customer base as assigned * Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales contracts * Promptly respond to Requests for Quote for current and potential customers; Overall goal is no later than 24 hours per RFQ. * Coordinate workflow with company staff to achieve closing of sales quotes * Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by Sales Manager, i.e. dollars booked and calls per day * Proactively review open orders & advise customers of status changes * Manage account services through follow-up and quality checks * Develop and maintain existing product knowledge * Analyze sales data to assist in establishing specific account pricing * Contribute to a positive work environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement * Communicate effectively with other sales representatives, business development, management, and other co-workers * Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of business ethics Required Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * Two or more years of experience in sales * Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, & time mgmt. skills * Marketing experience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities * Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations customers/suppliers * Strong work ethic, self-motivated, & creative Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, sales, marketing, or related area * Three or more years of experience in sales and marketing * Aluminum product knowledge Benefits: * 401(k) with company matching, tuition Reimbursement, paid time off * Health, dental, vision, & life insurance * Relocation Assistance Available
