Duties

: - Conduct property tours for potential residents and provide information about available units - Process rental applications and conduct background checks on prospective tenants - Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are signed - Collect rent payments and handle tenant inquiries or concerns - Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants - Maintain accurate records of rental payments, vacancies, and maintenance requests - Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants to the property

Requirements

: - Prior experience as a Leasing Agent or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of property management software such as OneSite or similar platforms - Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests and repairs - Understanding of property maintenance procedures and ability to coordinate repairs as needed - Strong sales skills to effectively promote available units and secure leases - Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements and Section 8 housing programs - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact with prospective and current tenants - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records - Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally and resolve tenant disputes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
