Job Responsibilities * Must be able to motivate and communicate to team * Must be able to mentor Leasing Professionals with diverse personalities * Must be willing and able to delegate tasks with clear and concise direction * Provides support to team members * Shows initiative and enthusiasm on a day to day basis to all team members, residents and prospective residents. * Maintains a positive demeanor and professional attitude at all times * Must provide adequate training for all newly hired Leasing Professionals * Must understand the approval process based on the company policies a * Leasing is a must * Fulfills job description of Leasing Professional * Greet clients and residents in a friendly manner * Reviews all leasing paperwork * Understands all policies and procedures * Coordinates the leasing schedule schedule * Understands and enforces community policies * Organizes Marketing/Outreach with team * Reviews vacancies, walks apartments to ensure apartments are rent ready and meet company standards Qualifications * Must be able to complete and analyze the market survey on a monthly basis * Must possess exemplary leadership ability and coaching and mentoring skills * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication * Must be able to communicate openly and honestly with all staff members as well as vendors, residents and the corporate office * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights and weekends, when necessary * Must be able to tour the community, including climbing stairs on a regular basis * Minimum of two years experience in the on-site leasing field is required * Must understand policies and Procedures specific to property Summary As a Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing property leasing operations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Your core skills in customer service and property management will be essential in fostering positive relationships with tenants and prospective renters. Utilizing your premium skills in LIHTC and landlord-tenant law, you will navigate complex leasing agreements and resolve conflicts effectively. Your leadership and mentoring abilities will guide your team in achieving leasing goals, while your strong communication skills will enhance collaboration across departments.
