As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated, organized, and eager-to-learn Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will help us introduce Alli 's craftsmanship and innovation to new architects, designers, and general contractors. Through targeted prospecting, email campaigns, and outbound calls, you'll support our business development efforts, book in-person meetings, and assist in presenting our products to prospective clients. Working directly with the Business Development Director, you'll help elevate our brand, turning opportunities into lasting partnerships. Position Overview: We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to assist in our sales efforts and help grow our client base. As the SDR, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our business development by handling various tasks that keep us organized and efficient, while learning the ins and outs of sales from the ground up. You will report directly to the Business Development Director and work closely with them to introduce our company to new prospects, coordinate outreach efforts, and help move opportunities forward. Key Responsibilities: * Prospecting & Lead Generation: Assist in building targeted prospect lists of architects, designers, and general contractors to reach out to for potential projects. * Email Campaigns & Outreach: Coordinate and execute email campaigns to introduce our services and build relationships with new prospects. * Outbound Calls: Make calls to prospective clients to introduce our company, establish rapport, and book in-person meetings where we can present our products and services to their teams. * Lead Qualification: Respond to inquiries from campaign interactions, assess potential leads, and loop in senior sales for follow-up on qualified leads. * Relationship Management: Support communication with prospective clients and help maintain ongoing relationships. * Follow-up on Quotes: Track and follow-up with clients on previously quoted projects to keep opportunities moving forward. * Coordination: Help organize and schedule lunch-and-learns, webinars, and client-facing presentations. * Sales Administration: Keep the sales pipeline organized, update CRM tools, and assist in preparing sales reports. * Learning & Growth: Work closely with the Business Development Director to learn the nuances of the sales process, develop soft skills, and gradually take on more responsibility in sales. Skills & Qualifications: * No prior sales experience is required, but an interest in learning sales techniques is a must. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a particular focus on phone and email outreach. * Comfortable with outbound calling to prospective clients and booking in-person meetings. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. * Comfort with using tools like email platforms, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent). * A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for building relationships and learning. * Prior exposure to customer service, marketing, or a similar role is a plus, but not required. * Ability to travel for mostly same day trips to places such as NYC or possible overnights for conferences and tradeshows. Travel will be minimal.
