About us We are professional, challenging, customer-centric and our goal is to serve the south-central Ohio area. We have been the premiere hobby shop in Chillicothe for over ten years. We are looking for bright, motivated, sales- oriented individuals who share a love for anything tabletop gaming related. While having trading card game experience is not required, is it a bonus. Our main product foci are Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Flesh and Blood. Our work environment includes: * On-the-job training * Flexible working hours * Company perks * Lively atmosphere * On-the-job training * Casual work attire * Growth opportunities Store Clerk Duties: - Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Meet competitive daily, weekly, monthly and otherwise presented sales goals at the direction of the management team. - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point- of-sale (POS) system. -Process customer TCG trade-ins and accurately condition cards for online processing. - Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers. - Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store environment. - Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and restocking as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning shelves, counters, bathrooms and display areas. - Practice sales techniques and implement sales strategies with guidance from training and management staff. Skills: - Salesmanship - Salesmanship - Salesmanship (with a background in sales, and salesmanship, if possible) - Strong retail math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and provide correct change. - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Organizational skills to maintain a neat and orderly store layout. - Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience. - Knowledge of stock management procedures to ensure adequate inventory levels. - Previous experience in retail SALES is preferred.
