In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their shopping experience. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring that our customers leave satisfied with their purchases. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with their shopping needs. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. * Utilize retail math skills to ensure accurate pricing and inventory counts. * Uphold store standards by keeping the sales floor clean and organized. Skills * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store environment. * Ability to conduct engaging product demos that capture customer interest. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory effectively. * A proactive approach to selling, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
